Low clouds hanging over the hills around lake Baikal on a rainy day.

Rusty boat and seagulls in Port Baikal.

Leaving Baranchiki behind.

Back in Listvyanka, which is now cold and rainy.

We stayed here! In the brown wooden building in the front. Behind it, you can see some of the holiday homes of supposedly very rich Russians.

Our bedroom. Pretty cozy.

Lakeshore, and Johanna, who went swimming shortly after this picture was taken.

It's the next morning, and the lake is as pretty as a picture again.

The nerpinarium, which was, sadly, closed.

Me and my consolation seal.

One more lake view.

Hot-smoked omul! (Also wonky horizon, but I'm so low on time that if I start correcting these photos beyond basic sizing and colour adjustments I'll just never post here.)

We're back in Irkutsk, with the seal.

There was a singer in the tram.

Uncle Lenin. How awesome is this statue?

The terribly artificial, commercial pseudo-old town in Irkutsk.

I mean, WTF is this even. Look at the flower heart thing where lovers can go take a picture.

And we're back in the actually historical centre. More sights: Eiffel tower! I've no idea.

And a wall relief of The Internationale.

Late-night tram.

Irkutsk market hall, home of a hundred delicacies.

We're standing on the balcony of the second floor of the hall.

Market hall cafeteria, where you can eat a quick, cheap and filling lunch.

Clothes store with a multitude of very fancy tracksuits.

Kvas tank, from where this tasty drink os sold by the glass or bottle.

And then it's time to go! Irkutsk railway station, for the last time.
